An aftercare agency that focuses on empowerment, recovery and wellness of mental health service consumers. Programming helps nurture talents and abilities, and encourages integration and involvement. The agency is also an assertive behavioral health advocate locally, as well as on state and federal levels. Programming includes:
Free, confidential, non-crisis supportive listening. Hours: Mondays 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursdays 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
A place where adult consumers of mental health services meet friends, relax, and participate in a variety of educational, wellness and personal growth classes on topics such as finance, time management, computer use, physical fitness, and nutrition. Center also offers offsite field trips and seasonal activities.
Non-clinical curriculum focuses on tools to facilitate increased self esteem and self sufficiency.
Wellness Management & Recovery Project
A program that emphasizes recovery and wellness for adults who have a severe and persistent mental illness.
